Who am I?
My name is Ludvig Forsander and I am the person behind Helmer Design. After many years of multitasking, I have now become obsessed with the idea of enlivening people's homes with beautiful colors and shapes.
Who is Helmer?
Helmer was my grandfather who grew up and lived his adult life in the second half of the 20th century.
It is images from his time, like my father's, that I have drawn great inspiration from, something that characterizes my design.
Hence the name Helmer Design.
What does Helmer Design do?
I design everything from furniture and lamps to storage solutions, but Helmer Design exists to create so much more!

How and where is everything manufactured?
The majority of everything manufactured by Helmer Design is done with 3D printers. This is to be able to manufacture all products at a reasonable cost and with environmentally friendly materials.
The manufacturing takes place locally in my hometown of Huskvarna (Jönköping), Sweden.
What material is used?
The material used in 3D printing is PLA, a biodegradable material made from various starchy/sugar-rich plants.
No crude oil, only materials with circularity.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy anything for my lampshade?
All lampshades at helmerdesign.se are sold without electrical equipment. This is so that you as a customer can choose between different colors and lengths of lamp cord and light source.
The product page and assembly instructions state what type of cord you need and how high a power your light source can be.
In the future, the idea is that this will be offered as an accessory on the website, but for now I refer to companies such as Clas Ohlson & IKEA.
Do I have an open purchase?
When you buy directly from the store, you always have 14 days to return your order, starting from the day you receive it. Fill out the form below or contact me via email to start your return.
How much does shipping cost?
Regardless of the address in Sweden, Denmark or Finland, the shipping cost is 100 SEK. The package will be sent to your nearest post office.
If you shop over 1000 SEK, I'll offer free shipping!
When will the package be shipped?
In-stock products will be shipped within 1-3 business days.*
*On certain occasions, different delivery times apply. When this occurs, the terms and conditions are clearly stated on the product page.
Something broken?
As a consumer, you have a three-year legal right to make a complaint. This applies if something went wrong during manufacturing.
